Will Smith will no longer be able to vote on Oscar nominated films every year.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President David Rubin said the organization has received and accepted an «immediate resignation» Smith.
«We will continue our disciplinary proceedings against Mr. Smith for violating the Academy's standards of conduct ahead of our next scheduled board meeting on April 18», Rubin added.
