Protest in Thessaloniki. File photoATHENA, Apr 6 Greek police fired tear gas at protesters in Thessaloniki protesting the presence of NATO forces, some arrested, according to pronews.gr. The clashes took place near the port on Wednesday afternoon. According to locals Media, the police detained 11 people. Three were released, and eight were arrested. The protesters first negotiated with the police to be allowed into the port, they opposed the presence of NATO forces in Greece.
