MOSCOW, April 5 Traktor Chelyabinsk beat Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the second match of the final series of the Eastern Conference of the Continental Hockey League (KHL). The meeting in Magnitogorsk ended with the victory of the Chelyabinsk team with a score of 6:4. Sergey Kalinin (23rd minute), Albert Yarullin (33), Kirill Kapustin (36), Vladimir Tkachev (40, 42) and Tomas Ghica (59) scored goals for the guests. Anatoly Nikontsev (29), Yegor Yakovlev (37), Brendan Leipsik (48) and Nikolai Goldobin (53) distinguished themselves among the losers. The score in the series of up to four victories became 1-1. The third meeting of the teams will take place in Chelyabinsk on April 7th. As a result of the regular season, Metallurg took first place in the Eastern Conference, Traktor — second. Before that, the teams met in the KHL playoffs once. In the 2009/10 season, Metallurg won in the first round (3-1). The Magnitogorsk club won the Gagarin Cup twice (2014, 2016), Traktor also reached the East final in the 2017/18 season, where they lost to the future trophy holder Ak Bars Kazan (0-4).
