The Russian company Rusal called for an investigation into the murders in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. This is stated in the address of the Chairman of the Board of Directors Bernard Sonneveld.
“Reports from the Ukrainian city of Bucha shocked us. We believe that this crime should be thoroughly investigated. We stand for an objective and impartial investigation of this crime and call for severe punishment for those responsible,” Zonneveld said.

Also, the chairman of the board of directors added that the company wishes «a speedy end to this fratricidal conflict that destroys lives, families and entire cities», and called for a peaceful settlement of the «conflict».

Rusal, founded by Oleg Deripaska, is one of the world's largest producers of primary aluminum and alumina. Australia and the United Kingdom have already imposed sanctions against the oligarch. At the same time, the company is not under sanctions.
On April 2, Bucha returned under the control of the Ukrainian military. After that, photos and videos appeared on the network from the streets of the city, on which dozens of corpses of local residents lie. The Russian authorities called these footage «another provocation». The Prosecutor General's Office promised to give them a «criminal legal assessment».
Also, the head of the Investigative Committee instructed to check the actions of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the article about «fakes» about the Russian army (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code) due to the publication of the photo.
