Privileges will apply during martial law. There are no restrictions on the number of imported cars and resale.

In Ukraine, now you can clear a car for free. The corresponding law was signed by the president, published and has already entered into force, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Focus. persons and payers of the single tax of groups 1, 2 and 3. In addition, individuals will not have to pay excise when importing vehicles.

Thus, citizens will not have to pay for customs clearance. However, some payments when registering a car still remain. In addition, there are restrictions on cars from the aggressor country — it will not be possible to import and register cars with Russian and Belarusian license plates.

The new rules apply to cars and trucks, motorcycles, buses and car bodies. Transport requirements remain the same: you can import cars of Euro 2 and higher standards and trucks and buses of Euro 5 and higher standards. There are no restrictions on further resale or the number of imported cars.
