MOSCOW, Apr 9 Williams team pilot Nicholas Latifi crashed the car in qualifying for the third stage of the Formula 1 championship — the Australian Grand Prix, which takes place in Melbourne. Latifi, who was on a slow lap, collided with Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll's car in the first qualifying segment. Red flags were hung on the track. Both pilots were unable to continue their performance. The riders were not injured. Latifi had also previously crashed the car in qualifying for the second round of the season in Saudi Arabia.
