  • directions for persons in need of evacuation from the affected area,

First things to do in the chemical zone

Outdoors:

  • leave the territory defeat,
  • try to move quickly, but don't run,
  • breathe slowly to inhale less poison,
  • find a shelter nearby, if possible, return to your home.

In a car:

  • pull to the side of the road, do not interfere with emergency vehicles,
  • turn off the engine and close all vents that draw in outside air, including air conditioning vents,
  • cover your mouth and nose with a cloth (scarf, handkerchief or face mask).

Indoors:

  • go up to a high floor and find a room with as few windows and doors as possible,
  • close windows, doors, vents and anything else that helps air into the room from outside,
  • do not do not eat or drink anything that may have been exposed to chemicals,
  • turn on the news and wait for a message when it is safe to go outside.

If you experience symptoms of exposure to a chemical

    Remove the top layer of clothing. If possible, put the clothes in a bag and close it.
  • Place the sealed bag in another bag and seal with tape. Instructions for disposal or cleaning will be provided later.
  • If you have signs or symptoms of exposure to liquid or tantalizing substances — eg redness, itching and burning of the eyes or skin — wash them with water.
  • Do not use soap to wash your eyes. Avoid touching other people to avoid possible spread of the chemical.

How to Evacuate from a Chemical Weapons Area

During evacuation, wear clean, heavy clothing that covers as much of your body as possible. If possible, wear goggles, masks, hats and gloves, and a raincoat. If you must be in cover, stock up on water, food, and emergency supplies.

Do not return to the affected area without the appropriate orders from the State Emergency Service and other emergency services, because areas can be dangerous for a long time (even several months) .
