Now it is possible to import into Ukraine under a simplified procedure cars and bodies for them, semi-trailers and trailers, cargo vehicles and vehicles for the transport of goods and passengers more than 10 people, as well as motorcycles.
The procedure for registration of these vehicles has not changed and remains in accordance with the legislation that was before the war. However, when importing, you will not have to pay excise tax, customs duty and VAT.
When registering a car with a foreign registration, the fee for customs formalities by the customs authorities outside the location of the customs authorities or outside the working hours established for them, from interested persons will not be charged.
There are also restrictions: these amendments to the Law do not apply to cars from Russia, Belarus and the occupied territories.
After the end of martial law, citizens will not need to pay extra payments, which are now cancelled. There are no delays provided by the Law.
Important! Citizens will need to pay a fee for the first registration of a car and its certification.
