There was no official statement about the termination of Ovechkin's work, but the hockey player's profile was removed from the section with information about the club's leaders on the Blue and White website. Ovechkin is a graduate of Dynamo. He played with the White and Blues from 2001 to 2005, and during the NHL lockout in 2012/13.
