According to the ministry, on April 14, Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov received the Iranian ambassador Kazem Jalali in Moscow. «The parties discussed topical issues of Russian-Iranian cooperation. The mutual intention to further strengthen the practical cooperation between the two countries in all areas was confirmed, without regard to the illegal sanctions imposed against Russia and Iran by some unfriendly states,» the ministry said in a statement.
