FSB officers detained a resident of Mariupol in Crimea and accused him of participating in an illegal armed formation (Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the Crimean department of the department to RIA Novosti and Outpost Sevastopol.
The man was detained at the end of March, when he «along with the civilian population leaving Mariupol, tried to enter the territory of Russia.»
On camera, the Muriupol resident said that his neighbor Sergei, a colonel in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, invited him to join a group to defend the city and patrol the streets. On the night of February 29, according to him, they fired at strangers who were mistaken for Russian soldiers, and they “hid in the private sector.”

“On March 14, the shelling of Mariupol became more and more intense, and we decided to get out of the city. We left the weapons that Sergey gave us in Mariupol. I drove in my car with my mother towards Berdyansk, and then towards Crimea,” the detainee added.
The FSB officers also scrolled through his iPhone photos and WhatsApp correspondence, where there were pictures of weapons and uniforms.
