
MOSCOW, Apr 16 Russian Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov earns 80 thousand dollars following the fight against American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Corey Anderson as part of the 227th numbered tournament of the promotion, MMA Junkie reports citing Andy Foster, executive director of the California Athletic Commission. The title fight took place on Saturday night and was declared void after of the third round due to Anderson's illegal headbutt. The American himself received 250 thousand dollars. In the main fight of the evening, the champion of the Bellator Lightweight Division, Brazilian Patricio Freire, defeated American AJ Mackey by unanimous decision. Both fighters earned $250,000 each.
