The specialist forbade drinking carbonated water on an empty stomach, as it stimulates the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Because of this, the risk of developing gastritis and other inflammatory processes of the gastric mucosa increases. White cabbage has a positive effect on this organ, the doctor says. Cabbage and its juice accelerate the process of wound healing and restoration of mucous membranes, which is especially useful for gastritis or ulcers. Makisha recommends adding one or two teaspoons of vegetable oil to salads with cabbage. To improve the functioning of the pancreas, the specialist recommends eating broccoli and pumpkin. These vegetables contain antioxidants that help restore body cells.
