File photoMOSCOW, Apr 16The death toll in the Philippines as a result of tropical cyclone Agathon (international name — «Megi») has reached 167 people, another 110 are missing, the natural disaster in total affected approximately by two million people, according to data released on Saturday by the Council for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk. The cyclone passed through the Philippines from April 9 to 12, causing flooding in 787 places, and 89 landslides. Eight people were injured. According to the council, power supply was disrupted in 76 cities of the Philippines, more than 10.3 thousand houses were damaged, 664 of them were completely destroyed. Schools were canceled in 192 cities around the country. Cyclone Agathon caused damage to Philippine agriculture worth 242.2 million Philippine pesos (over $4.6 million).
