MOSCOW, 18 Apr. Skater Alexandra Trusova, in an interview with the YouTube channel Waction, admitted that she would like to perform a five-jump at competitions before men. During a free program at the Beijing Olympics, Trusova performed five jumps in four turns. Previously, no one was able to do this.
"I made five quads in the program for victories in competitions. I also wanted to be the first to complete them. It's hard to stand still, you want to add something constantly. The athlete needs to win himself every time. Now I want to try to learn the quintuple jump and perform it before the rest, including men", said Trusova.
Trusova is the silver medalist of the Beijing Olympics. She also has two bronze medals at the European Championships and one at the World Championships.
