MOSCOW, April 18 Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin congratulated the Moscow football club » Spartak» on its 100th anniversary, according to the official website of the Ministry of Sports. «Spartak» on Monday celebrates the 100th anniversary of the club. The capital team is a 10-time champion of Russia. The last time the club won the trophy was in the 2016/17 season. «Not many Russian teams have such a long and eventful history. Over the years of its existence, Spartak has become not only one of the leading domestic football teams, but also a unique movement in world of sports, standing out for its famous «red and white» paraphernalia. «Spartak» deservedly won the love of millions of fans not only in Russia, but also abroad. The club has repeatedly achieved high results in the Russian and international arena, beat records and delighted fans with its game sports and football,” Matytsin said. The sports minister wished the club longevity and new victories.
