MOSCOW, Apr 19 Formula 1 Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was the victim of a theft in Italy, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The incident occurred on Monday evening in Viareggio, Italy. Leclerc walked the streets with his coach Andrea Ferrari and other friends. Around 11:00 p.m. local time, fans spotted Leclerc and asked him to take souvenir photos. Later, a large group of people gathered around the Monegasque. It is noted that while the racer was talking with the fans, an unknown person managed to remove an expensive watch, which is a «unique collectible», from Leclerc's wrist. When Leclerc realized that he was the victim of a theft, several young people disappeared from view. The police launched an investigation. Leclerc is in Italy to take part in the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna from April 22 to 24.
