Executive Committee of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) recognized the performance of Russian figure skaters in the Olympic season as satisfactory. «The executive committee unanimously recognized the performance of Russian figure skaters in the season as satisfactory,» said the head of the federation, Alexander Gorshkov, following the meeting of the FFKKR executive committee, held on Tuesday in Moscow. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, Russian figure skaters won two gold, three silver and one bronze medals. Anna Shcherbakova became the winner of the Olympics in women's singles skating, Alexandra Trusova won silver in this discipline, Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov (pair skating) and Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov (ice dancing) won medals of the same denomination. Bronze in pair skating was won by Anastasia Mishina/Alexander Gallyamov. The Russian team also won the team tournament. At the 2022 European Championships in Tallinn, the Russian team won four gold, three silver and two bronze medals. In the women's singles skating, Kamila Valieva won, Anna Shcherbakova won the silver, Alexandra Trusova won the bronze. In men, Mark Kondratyuk excelled. In pair skating, Anastasia Mishina/Alexander Gallyamov won gold, Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov — silver, Alexandra Boykova/Dmitry Kozlovsky — bronze. In ice dancing, Victoria Sinitsina/Nikita Katsalapov won, Alexandra Stepanova/Ivan Bukin took second place.
