Artist Oleg Kulik was summoned to the Investigative Committee because of his sculpture Big Mother. He told journalist Anna Mongait about this.
According to her, the sculptor was charged with the rehabilitation of Nazism. As art critic and blogger Ksenia Korobeynikova clarified in a conversation with RTVI, Kulik is charged with part 3 of article 354.1. Criminal Code, which provides for punishment of up to three years in prison.
Two days ago, the head of the Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, wrote in his Telegram channel that he had sent requests to the prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee to initiate proceedings under this article against Kulik because of the sculpture exhibited at the Art Moscow exhibition in Gostiny Dvor.
