File photoBERLIN, Apr 23 Half of Germans (50%) oppose the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine, while 43% of respondents hold the opposite opinion, according to a survey conducted by the public opinion research institute INSA for the publication Bild.Several days earlier, the poll was also conducted by the Forsa Institute, according to which the majority of Germans (51%) support the supply of offensive weapons and heavy equipment to Ukraine, another 37% opposed such supplies. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said this week that the possibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine from the Bundeswehr's reserves are almost exhausted, the German authorities are working with the country's defense concerns for further supplies.
