The procession of the Armenian opposition demanding Pashinyan's resignation began in the Armenian capital in Monday evening. The action started from the Church of the Holy Cross, the protesters headed for the city center.On Monday afternoon, opposition representatives briefly blocked traffic on one of the key transport hubs of the capital — Komitas Avenue.

Earlier, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament from the «Armenia» opposition faction, announced from April 25 uninterrupted protests throughout Armenia. The opposition believes that the policy of the authorities «is destructive for Armenia and the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, threatens the Armenian side not only with new concessions, but also with the loss of statehood.» The leader of another opposition faction, the former head of the National Security Service, Artur Vanetsyan, said in a video message on social networks that from April 25 «the second stage of the struggle will begin, which will be more active, dynamic, and its goal will be to mobilize a larger number of people.» Vanetsyan has been holding protests on Freedom Square in Yerevan since April 17.
