CHISINAU, Apr 26 The explosions in Transnistria are connected with the confrontation of forces within the unrecognized republic, the president said Maia Sandu of Moldova. «According to our information, the escalation attempts are connected with the forces inside Transnistria, who are in favor of war and are interested in destabilizing the situation,» Sandu said after a meeting of the Supreme Security Council. The day before, according to the local Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the building of the Ministry of State Security in Tiraspol fired several times from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher. According to the department, no one was injured in the incident, and windows were knocked out on the upper floors of the building. Also in the morning, two more explosions thundered in the village of Mayak, Grigoriopol district, due to which two of the most powerful antennas of the radio center broadcasting Russian radio were disabled.
