Archival photoMOSCOW, April 27A monument to Soviet soldiers was sprayed with paint in Shakiai district of Lithuania, the country's police reported. «In the village of Grishkabudys, Shakiai district, at the cemetery of Soviet soldiers, the monument and memorial plaques were splashed with yellow and blue paint. Started pre-trial investigation in accordance with part one of Article 312 of the Criminal Code of Lithuania,» the Lithuanian Police Department said in a daily report. Earlier it was reported that attackers poured paint over a monument to Soviet soldiers in the village of Zalei, Vilkavishki district of Lithuania.
