MOSCOW, April 27, Alexander Govorov. President of the Russian Hockey Federation (RHF) Vladislav Tretyak told reporters that he would nominate his candidacy for a new four-year term. «I feel young, I have a lot of experience as a player and organizer. I have been working in the Duma for 18 years. Today you can’t leave, the special operation in Ukraine will end one way or another «It doesn't fit in my head that politics gets involved in sports. I have good connections with the IIHF, we will seek to establish relations with them and with the IOC. Now is not the time to leave, I have decided to put forward my candidacy for another four years,» Tretyak said in Museum of Ice Hockey in Moscow at the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the three-time Olympic champion. The election of the head of the FHR will be held on May 19.
