Archival photoMARIUPOL, April 28Adolf Hitler’s book Mein Kampf (“My Struggle”), banned in Russia, was found in Mariupol at the base of the Azov nationalist regiment, against whose fighters criminal cases were initiated in the Russian Federation. As reported correspondent of RIA Novosti, the publication in Russian was found during inspection in the barracks where the nationalists were located. Mein Kampf was written in 1924, Hitler wrote it in custody. The work is considered the ideological foundation of National Socialism; during the life of the Fuhrer, the book was published in millions of copies. Until 1945, Mein Kampf was translated into 18 languages, more than 12 million copies were sold. In April 2010, the book was included in the Russian Federal List of Extremist Materials.
