MOSCOW, April 28 Basketball players of Dynamo Kursk beat the Yekaterinburg UMMC and became champions of Russia. The meeting, held in Kursk, ended with a score of 76:58 (24:10, 21:21, 16:16, 15:11). As part of the winners, a double-double was scored by Elizaveta Shabanova (13 points and 10 rebounds), Yulia Kozik also scored 13 points. Maria Vadeeva (16 points and 14 rebounds) scored a double-double for the guests, Maria Popova also scored 16 points. For the first time in history, Dynamo basketball players won gold medals in the Russian championship. For the previous five years, the Kursk club lost to UMMC in the final of the tournament. The team also became the bronze medalist of the competition three times. For the first time since 2008, the UMMC failed to become the national champion.
