As Pushkov pointed out in his Telegram channel, Poland, after its rejection of Russian gas, ordered the same volumes of «blue fuel» from Germany as it received from Russia. «At the same time, Warsaw claims that it does not need Russian gas. Who are they trying to fool?» he asked. According to the senator, Germany now “all the more” needs gas from Russia, “otherwise, you see, there won’t be enough reverse for Poland.” From April 1, Russia began to accept payments for gas from unfriendly countries in rubles in order to leave from settlements in dollars and euros. President Vladimir Putin clarified that Moscow recognizes the refusal to carry out transactions in Russian currency as a default on obligations under contracts.
