MOSCOW, Apr 30 Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov finished tenth in the history of the National Hockey League (NHL) on points in the regular season among Russians. The forward scored a goal and an assist in a meeting with the Colorado Avalanche (4:1). Kaprizov finished the season with 108 (47+61) points. He surpassed the result of Pavel Bure (107, 1993/94 season), Sergei Fedorov (107, 1995/96) and Alexander Mogilny (107, 1995/96).The record for points in the season among Russians belongs to the forward» Tampa Bay Lightning» to Nikita Kucherov, who scored 128 points in the 2018/19 season. The second place is occupied by Mogilny (127, 1992/93), the third is Fedorov (120, 1993/94). Kaprizov also scored two or more points per match for the 45th time in his NHL career. Only three active players have surpassed that figure in their first two seasons in the league — Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins (67), Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals (58) and Evgeni Malkin of Pittsburgh (51).
