MOSCOW, May 1st. Russian President Vladimir Putin presented Olympic figure skating champion Kamila Valieva with a scarf at a meeting with the Olympians. The event took place in the Kremlin on April 26. The frames of the communication between the president and the young athlete were published by the Rossiya 1 TV channel.Valiyeva turned 16 on the day of the event. Last season she won the championship of Russia and Europe. The athlete surpassed world records in the short and free programs, as well as in their sum.
