MOSCOW, May 2. Hockey players of the Russian national team defeated the team of Belarus in the second friendly match in Tula. The meeting ended in overtime with a score of 3:2 (2:0, 0:0, 0:2, 1:0). Among the winners, Ilya Safonov (11th minute), Danil Bashkirov (12) and Marat Khairullin (65) scored goals. Yegor Chezganov (41) and Vitaly Pinchuk (60) scored against the Belarusians. A day earlier, the Russian team also beat the Belarusians in Tula with a score of 5: 2. In February, the Council of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) suspended the national teams of Russia and Belarus from international competitions for an indefinite period . The Swiss national ice hockey team will replace the Russian team at the stages of the Eurotour for the next two years.
