Protesters and police in YerevanYEREVAN, May 4. Opponents of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during during the protest procession in Yerevan, the police pushed back and approached the building of the country's Foreign Ministry, RIA Novosti correspondent reports. A guard from a small group of police officers was posted on the steps of the complex of government buildings. The demonstrators pushed back the security forces and took their place, chanting slogans calling for Pashinyan to be dismissed. A small group went to the courtyard of the complex and hung the flag of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic there. April, the opposition holds protests throughout Armenia. The protesters are convinced that the policy of the authorities threatens the country with the loss of statehood.
