The United States disrupted the participation of Russian delegates in the meeting of the UN Committee on Information, the head of the delegation, Maria Zakharova, received a visa only on Tuesday, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Representative of Russia to the organization, said at the meeting of the committee.
"The head of our delegation, the director of the information and press department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, received a visa only yesterday afternoon. The remaining two experts do not yet have visas at all,” he said.
Polyansky stressed that visa requests were submitted in advance. According to him, Moscow considers this practice unacceptable and urges the UN Secretariat not to allow this in the future.
