Polish servicemen. Archival photoMOSCOW, May 6.Warsaw sends professional soldiers and mercenaries to Ukraine to take part in the battles, Polish political scientist Konrad Renkas told Ukraina.ru.
"Citizens of the Republic Poland is already fighting in Ukraine, and these are not demonstrative volunteers, but mercenaries and military men sent there by order", Renkas said.
The specialist added that the participation of foreigners in the battles on the territory of the former Soviet republic will only expand, as they are necessary for the proper operation of the weapons supplied by the West. Renkas also expressed the opinion that Moscow is now actually forced to fight «with the entire American bloc.»
The American general called on NATO to create brigades for fighting in Ukraine. Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, said that Poland intends to establish tight military-political control over «its historical possessions» in western Ukraine. According to him, Warsaw expects that consolidation in these territories will most likely lead to a split in the country, and Poland will receive control of the lands occupied by «peacekeepers.» On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As Vladimir Putin stressed, its goal is «to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian military strikes only on military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops, nothing threatens the civilian population.
