Hockey players of the Russian youth team lost to the national team of the Russian Federation in the opening match of the tournament in St. Petersburg, conceding three goals in the third period. 2:4 (1:1, 1:0, 0:3). Maxim Krovyakov (20th minute), Nikita Tertyshny (51), Marat Khusnutdinov (51) and Nikita Chibrikov (58) scored among the winners.
