North Korean leader Kim Jong-un congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on Victory Day and expressed «strong solidarity» with the actions of the Russian people to eradicate the threat, the Yonhap news agency reports, citing the North Korean Central Telegraph agency. Kim Jong-un's message expresses «strong solidarity» to the cause of the Russian people to «eliminate the political and military threat and blackmail by hostile forces», as well as to protect the dignity, peace and security of the country. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24 .
