MOSCOW, May 11. Carolina Hurricanes beat Boston Bruins in the fifth match of the series of the first round of the playoffs of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jacob Slavin (7th minute), Tony DeAngelo (13th), Seth Jarvis (36th, 44th) and Vincent Trochek (57th) scored the winners. Connor Clifton scored a goal at Boston (51). Andrey Svechnikov, a Russian striker for the Carolinas, made two shots on target, had three power moves and scored no points. The score in the four-game series was 3-2 in favor of the Hurricanes . The sixth match will take place in Boston on the night of May 13 Moscow time.
