The boy developed slowly, often crying from pain in his head. Bogdana started going to the hospital in Lysychansk, a good children's clinic in Ukraine-controlled territory. In February, hostilities began in Trekhizbenka: instead of traveling for treatment, Bogdana's family had to sit in basements, shelter from shelling. Several houses on the street where the family lived were destroyed. Trekhizbenka was liberated by the LPR forces, but Lisichansk is still under the control of Kyiv. Traveling there has become impossible.A resident of a front-line village in the LPR had to give birth at home due to shelling. Misha's condition worsened without treatment and against the backdrop of his parents' anxiety. Treatment could be continued in Luhansk, but it was not so easy: Bogdana has a Ukrainian passport, and special passes are needed for travel for residents of the liberated areas, because there are still many hidden saboteurs and Ukrainian intelligence officers. «We were always scared that in Luhansk terrible separatists live, you can’t go to them, otherwise they will kill you, ”admits Bogdana.
