Japan to ban exports of high-tech goods to Russia

The list of goods is published on the website of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and industry of Japan in connection with the decision of the Japanese government.» In connection with the international situation around Ukraine, our country is contributing to international efforts for world peace to solve this problem and, in accordance with the decision of the government of May 10, and introduces a ban on the export of high-tech products to Russia goods (quantum computers, 3D printers). These measures come into force on May 20,» the decree of the ministry says. In particular, oil refining equipment, quantum computers and their components, electron microscopes, atomic force microscopes , 3D printers and consumables for them, equipment for the production of organic light-emitting diodes, equipment for the production Microelectromechanical circuits, equipment for the production of high-efficiency solar panels for hydrogen fuel and renewable energy, vacuum pumps, refrigeration equipment designed for extremely low temperatures, materials that make it difficult to detect electromagnetic waves, and other equipment. Sanctions adopted by the Japanese government on May 10 , apply to 141 individuals and 71 organizations. In total, Japan imposed sanctions against 507 people from Russia, 253 from the LPR and DPR, and 201 Russian companies and organizations, including the largest banks. a package of Japanese sanctions against Sberbank and Alfa-Bank comes into force
