The State Defense Committee (GKO) of the Donetsk People's Republic issued a resolution on the transfer of property of Ukrainian banks in the liberated territories of the DPR to state ownership. Resolution No. 59 dated May 14, 2022 «On the transfer of bank property Ukraine, located in the liberated territories of the Donetsk People's Republic, into state ownership» published on the website of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, who is also the chairman of the State Defense Committee. Pushilin spoke about the encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdiivka «From the date of entry into force of this Decree, the ownership of Ukrainian banks to property located in the liberated territories of the Donetsk People's Republic (hereinafter referred to as the liberated territories) is terminated with the subsequent emergence of the ownership right of the Donetsk People's Republic to the said property» , — noted in the document.
