MOSCOW, May 15. The Swedish national team beat the Czech team in the group stage match of the championship World Ice Hockey Championship, which takes place in Finland. Group B meeting, held in Tampere, ended with a score of 5:3 (1:1, 3:1, 1:0). As part of the Swedish national team, Rasmus Asplund scored a double (20th and 29th minutes), Emil Bemström (23), Matthias Brome (26) and Anton Bengtsson (45) also scored goals. The Czech team scored David Krejci (7), Tomas Kundratek (38) and Matej Blumel (46). The Swedish team takes the second place in the group with six points and is behind the leading Finnish team in additional indicators. The Czechs are in fourth place with three points.
