Simultaneously with actions of disobedience, the Armenian opposition begins a mass procession in Yerevan, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports on Wednesday.Several hundred people take part in the march, which started from Yerevan's France Square. They sing patriotic songs and chant anti-government slogans. Simultaneously with the procession, numerous «actions of disobedience» are taking place throughout Yerevan. Opposition supporters block the intersections, preventing the passage of vehicles. The police do not have time to respond to all the actions taking place in different parts of the city. Often, by the time an impressive force of security forces arrive at the protest site, opposition supporters have time to regroup and move to a new point. In addition to the roads, the protesters blocked the work of the Yerevan metro for the first time since the beginning of the protests. They sat at the doors of the cars and did not allow the train to move. According to law enforcement agencies, about 300 people were detained for participating in protests on Wednesday. Protests continued in Yerevan on Wednesday, their participants blocking the streets of the Armenian capital. According to the latest data, about 280 people have been detained. Since April 25, the opposition has been holding protests throughout Armenia. Their participants are convinced that the policy of the authorities threatens the country with the loss of statehood.
