Former head of the SPD compared Burbock's words about Russia with the “language of the Nazis”

German Foreign Minister Annalena BurbockMOSCOW, 21 May. The former chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Oskar Lafontaine, compared Foreign Minister Annalene Burbock's words about Russia with the “language of the Nazis”, writes Saarbrücker Zeitung.

"Burbock's statements about "destruction" of Russia are similar to "the language of Nazi Germany", because such words could well please the leaders of the Third Reich", he said.

The politician also ridiculed Burbock's statement that Germany intends to become completely independent of Russian energy carriers.

“The Greens are doing everything to make the German economy less competitive, while German Chancellor Scholz and Finance Minister Lidner are just watching from the sidelines,” La Fontaine said indignantly.

In addition, the former SPD chairman called Burbock the olive-green German foreign minister and said that there were no dumber politicians and was glad that the term of office of an ignorant diplomat would most likely be limited.

On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As Vladimir Putin stressed, its goal is “to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.” According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian military strikes only on military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops, nothing threatens the civilian population. The agency called the liberation of Donbass the main goal of the operation.
