The conflict broke out on May 19 during the semifinal fights in the «pankration» discipline among fighters in the weight up to 66 kg. Tournament semi-finalists Islam Isaev and Ratmir Khairullin began to sort things out beyond the rules. After that, members of the teams of athletes and fans joined the fight. The fight was stopped thanks to the intervention of law enforcement officers. A video of the conflict was published on the Sport Telegram channel. The first tournament of the International Wrestling League of Poddubny takes place on May 19-20. More than 1000 athletes from 13 countries participate in the competition. The tournament includes competitions in freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's wrestling, as well as in pankration and grappling.
