Ukrainian troops fired 16 shells of 122 mm caliber at Mikhailovka and Gorlovka in the DPR in five minutes, follows from the message of the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) .It is noted that at 11.30 Mikhailovka came under fire, and at 11.35 Gorlovka. Ukrainian troops fired eight shells of the same caliber at Mikhailovka, and eight shells of the same caliber at Gorlovka. On the territory of the city there are coal mining enterprises and the chemical concern Stirol. The most frequently shelled areas of Gorlovka at the moment are the village of Zaitsevo and the villages of mines named after Gagarin and «6/7» located on the outskirts of the city. Before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250,000 people.
