MOSCOW, May 20 Women's Tennis Association (WTA) after refusing to allow Russian and Belarusian players before Wimbledon decided not to award rating points to the participants of the tournament, according to the website of the organization. Earlier on Friday, a similar decision was made by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). In April, the organizers of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season refused to allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players to compete. Also, players from Russia and Belarus were banned from playing at grass tournaments in the UK under the auspices of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). WTA has criticized the decision of the organizers of Wimbledon and LTA.
