
MOSCOW, May 22. American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. held an exhibition fight with compatriot Don Moore in Abu Dhabi. The fight lasted eight rounds of two minutes, the winner was not announced, no points were counted. Initially, the fight was supposed to take place on May 14 on the helipad of a skyscraper in Dubai, but was postponed due to the death of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Mayweather fought his previous fight in August 2017, defeating Irish mixed martial artist Conor McGregor by boxing rules. Mayweather, 45, is an undefeated boxer with 50 wins (27 by KO) to his credit. Moore was Mayweather's sparring partner during his career. Before that, as part of the evening, an exhibition boxing match took place between the former champion of the Absolute Boxing Championship (UFC) Brazilian Anderson Silva and mixed style fighter Bruno Machado.
