A mobilized serviceman of the LPR with the call sign «Birch» turned to his son, who is fighting in the Donbass on the side of Kyiv, with a call to lay down his arms. «I take this moment to ask my son if he sees me , hear, lay down your arms. Son, return home to your mother, to your wife and your child. This is your father speaking. We love you and do not want your death,» a serviceman of the People's Militia of the Republic addressed his son. He explained that his son lived on the territory controlled by Kyiv in the LPR and stopped communicating with him after he was taken to the Ukrainian army in 2016. “I just don’t want to face it. I constantly have this picture in front of my eyes,” Bereza said.
