"Found in the basement next to boarding school: grenades, four clips, things and two machine guns. And there were documents. Everything in the garages was in a black bag. We hid in the basement", one of the boys said.
Among the discovered documents is a military ID of a Ukrainian serviceman, which notes that he took part in the hostilities in the Donbass. According to the young people, when it became clear to them that the situation in Kherson was stable, they learned how to contact the Russian military and showed weapons they found. «We want to live normally and not find anything like that, I want to help my loved ones. I live in Kherson, it's not very comfortable here. I'm an orphan, so we survive as best we can. I work, I pack up waste paper,» said Sergey, one from teenagers.
The first foreign delegation visited the Kherson region. A young man who introduced himself as Arthur said that he lives in a Christian house and works with Sergey to provide some kind of income. «It's normal there. We go to church every Sunday, communicate, pray to the Lord God. Housing is good I am also an orphan, I work with Serezha,» he said. According to the teenager, in the near future he intends to leave for the village with a relative, where he can help with the housework. During a special operation in Ukraine, the Russian military took control of the entire Kherson region in the south countries and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region. Civil-military administrations have been formed in the regions, Russian TV channels and radio have begun broadcasting, and trade ties with Crimea are being restored. According to Secretary of the United Russia General Council Andriy Turchak, Russia has come to the Kherson region forever, there should be no doubt about it. Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As Vladimir Putin emphasized, its goal is «to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.» According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian military strikes only on military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops, nothing threatens the civilian population. The agency called the liberation of Donbass the main goal of the operation.
