MOSCOW, May 21. Czech goalkeeper Avangard Omsk Shimon Grubets may continue career in the Swiss hockey club «Zurich», according to Swiss Hockey News with reference to Watson. Earlier, Omsk general manager Alexei Volkov said that the club had no specific information about Grubets' decision to come or not to come to Russia. The 30-year-old Czech has a valid contract with Avangard, which runs until the end of the 2022/23 season. According to the source, Grubets can terminate the contract with Avangard and sign a one-year agreement with Zurich. Grubets played for Avangard with 2020. As part of the team, he won the Gagarin Cup in the 2020/21 season.
