The West will put pressure on India to oppose Russia, Kosachev said. According to him, Russia needs to «many times» more actively come to the post-Soviet space, to the CIS countries, to regions that are waiting for the «arrival of the Russian Federation.» According to the legislator, the current situation can be reflected in the concept of Russia's foreign policy. In terms of the economy, according to Kosachev, we must «learn lessons», obviously, «the import substitution program has not been completed to the end», we need to stand on our own «feet» .We need to ensure our own full-fledged economic development aimed at the welfare of citizens, he added. «In the humanitarian sphere, we must bring to the fore the uniqueness of our country in terms of its ethnic, confessional, administrative arrangement,» the politician said. Russia focused and searched for an answer to the question of what the world should become and what place Russia would have in it. Kosachev called the history of the last two decades a time of realizing the responsibility of the Russian Federation for what is happening after the capitulation of Eastern Europe and some neighbors in the former USSR to the West. Kosachev stated that the West never abandoned the goal of turning the outcome of the Cold War only in its favor. According to him, when events did not go according to plan, the choice was made in favor of resuming the confrontation. He emphasized that, in any case, there was no talk of an unconditional surrender of the world to the West, and therefore a new confrontation was required for the final victory.
